Events Celebrating the Art & History of the Automobile

 

Rhodwork is pleased to be a sponsor of the Marin Sonoma Concours d’Elegance.   This world class show brings the very best vintage automobiles in the country to our home town, San Rafael, CA, for a celebration of automotive art and history.   It is held at the beautiful Marin County Fairgrounds at the Civic Center.   We are proud to announce that one of our complete body and paint projects, a 1964 Daimler SP-250 roadster belonging to Steve Plath has twice placed in its class.   Rhody Ringrose, owner of Rhodwork, has also been chosen to judge the show.   Below are some photos of Steve Plath’s finished car.   Proceeds from this show fund Hospice by the Bay.

Rhody Ringrose has also served on the board of directors of the San Rafael May Madness vintage car show and parade which is held annually on Fourth Street in downtown San Rafael.   Over 200 attend this yearly show, with a parade for pre-1975 American Automobiles.   This show is organized primarily for the display of American Hot Rods, Customs and Muscle Cars, but cars of all years and manufactures are welcome.   This is a free event and is a great family day.   Rhodwork sponsors a class trophy at this event.   For more info, please visit www.DowntownSanRafael.org
